Neal Medlyn - Brave New Girl

September 29 - October 2, 2010

Brave New Girl is part II of Neal's 2-Part Britney Spears/Hannah Montana opus, Part I having been presented by Dance Theater Workshop in October 2009. Involved are Hannah Montana, Miley Cyrus, Miley Stewart, Twitter, snow, shaved armpits, hopes, dreams, diaries, 5am alone time, live music, theater, dance, and chickens.

Directly inspired by Baldwin's research fellowship in Bogliasco, Italy, Here Rests Peggy is a dance influenced by everything from the dramatic and stylized world of German Expressionist film, to the outrageous life and art collection of Peggy Guggenheim.
