New paintings derived from tabletop objects, photographs and the artist's own drawings. Ordinary studio objects of vases, fruit, cloths, and pictures; the paintings have less to do with the subject matter and its potential meanings/narratives but rather, the subject matter of the work is the phenomenological, tactile and kinesthetic investigations these objects allow for.

Witness their death-defying grapple with fins, fire, fetters and other fierce forces! Framed by an intricate set and illuminated by eerily beautiful lighting, Old Tricks is Red Metal Mailbox's most accomplished piece yet.

Playwright Jason Stuart and director Michael Chamberlin draw inspiration the true story of a 5-year old girl who drowned inside a laundromat washing machine in this new solo performance.
