Target Margin Theater moves in for a session of developmental work on two projects, with limited presentations for invited audiences. THE SPOT MARKED X is based on the notebooks, letters, marginalia and memoirs of Elia Kazan and Tennessee Williams; in this work, the passionate, difficult collaboration of these two giants on "Camino Real" becomes a lens through which we examine the isolation and passion of any artistic collaboration and any human being. We also continue our exploration of Greek theater via Eugene O'Neill's masterpiece MOURNING BECOMES ELECTRA. TMT turns our experimental energy to this demanding, mysterious 6 hour trilogy: what kind of performance best serves O'Neill's idiosyncratic mix of psychology and myth? How Greek is this story and how American?
