A live action videogame / performance, GUN PLAY is a dance theater ode to firearms. More than a year in development, GUN PLAY is inspired by the American obsession with guns and gun violence, combining real world characters - including Rockstar/gun nut Ted Nugent, gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson, Robert Deniro, Clint Eastwood and Doom creator John Carmack - with large scale projections and real time video processing to create an immersive 3d videogame experience inside the Chocolate Factory performance space...blurring the line between real and imagined violence.
