A live action videogame / performance, GUN PLAY is a dance theater ode to firearms. More than a year in development, GUN PLAY is inspired by the American obsession with guns and gun violence, combining real world characters - including Rockstar/gun nut Ted Nugent, gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson, Robert Deniro, Clint Eastwood and Doom creator John Carmack - with large scale projections and real time video processing to create an immersive 3d videogame experience inside the Chocolate Factory performance space...blurring the line between real and imagined violence. this expertise could compete with other, bigger techie companies like the Builders Association...startling videography — Time Out NY. |
