Opening Reception - Saturday May 19, 5-7pm New paintings derived from tabletop objects, photographs and the artist's own drawings. Ordinary studio objects of vases, fruit, cloths, and pictures; the paintings have less to do with the subject matter and its potential meanings/narratives but rather, the subject matter of the work is the phenomenological, tactile and kinesthetic investigations these objects allow for. |
